Students:

All those in training are eligible for these rates. Delegates registered in this category will need to upload documented proof of enrolment in a university programme during the registration process.

Nurses:

Delegates registered in this category will need to upload documented proof of being registered as a nurse during the registration process.

Low and lower-middle income country residents:

Participants residing in countries classified by the World Bank as low or lower-middle income economies may attend the 52nd Union World Conference on Lung Health at a reduced rate.

Registration fees include admission to the scientific sessions, poster exhibition, commercial exhibition, Community Connect at the virtual platform and access to the Union World Conference recordings until 30 December 2021. Fees are displayed in Euros and include VAT.

Individual registration

• After payment is executed, no further edits will be allowed
• Fees applicable (early or late) will correspond to the payment date and confirmation
• Due to the nature of a virtual conference (with all content available to view on demand) our policy is that we cannot accept cancellations or provide refunds

Group registration

• Group registration is intended for two or more participants
• In order to register groups, a group coordinator is required
• Coordinator will not be considered a participant unless a full profile is entered
• Duplicated participant emails will not be accepted
• When the last participant is saved and payment has been executed, no further edits will be allowed
• Fees applicable (early or late) will correspond to payment date and confirmation
• Due to the nature of a virtual conference (with all content available to view on demand) our policy is that we cannot accept cancellations or provide refunds.

Confirmation of registration, along with the payment receipt, will be sent by email to delegates upon completion of registration and once full payment has been received. Individuals will receive their login details to the virtual platform closer to the event.

For group registrations, confirmation of payment will be sent to the group coordinator once full payment has been received. Group members will receive their individual login details to the virtual platform closer to the event.

Should participants/group coordinators require a specific billing address on the invoice, they are kindly asked to add it during the registration process. Once issued, and following legal regulations, it is no longer possible to modify the invoice. Therefore, participants/group coordinators are requested to make sure the correct billing address is entered when registering.

Card payment

All payments for individual and group registrations can be settled by card (AMEX, Visa or MasterCard).

Bank transfer payment

Payment by bank transfer is only possible for group registrations until 8 October 2021. Bank charges must be borne by the ordering customer.

Survivors of TB/ Lung diseases

The Union World Conference is pleased to offer sponsored registrations free of charge to survivors of tuberculosis and other lung diseases. You can apply for sponsored registration until 22 October 2021.

Civil Society

The Union is pleased to offer sponsored registrations for the 52nd Union World Conference on Lung Health to civil society members and individuals involved in efforts to address lung health. Individuals from low and low-middle income countries will be given priority, as will those who are presenting at the conference, including Community Connect.

Speakers or authors of accepted abstracts.

Speakers and authors should read the scholarship guidelines before applying for assistance.

Community Connect

The Union World Conference is pleased to offer open access to Community Connect. Please register for Community Connect here.

The Union will use the personal data from this form only in direct relation to your attendance at the virtual 52nd Union World Conference on Lung Health (such as for registration, programme updates and the mobile app).

By participating in the event, delegates give their permission to be photographed or for their image to be used in videos and screenshots recorded by Union personnel and/or attending media.

Images and video could be reproduced for subsequent use in the media, webcasts, internal and external promotional purposes, advertising and inclusion on websites and social media.

Images are shared publicly with open access for use.

We will not share your data for any commercial reason.

During the conference, you may specifically request to opt in to share your details with sponsors or by using the electronic business card option agree to your personal data being shared.
